WILLIAM D SEWELL

WILLIAM D SEWELL WAS A VESSEL OF 671 TONS.SHE WAS CHARTERED BY PILKINGTON & WILSON IN 1850 AND MADE A VOYAGE FROM LIVERPOOL TO NEW YORK

THERE WAS  A STEAMSHIP CALLED WILLIAM D SEWELL WHICH ARRIVED IN NEW YORK CARRYING 240 PASSENGERS ON THE 11TH APRIL 1850.THIS VESSEL NORMALLY CARRIED TIMBER.

DUE TO LACK OF INFORMATION REGARDING THE WHITE STAR LINE CHARTERED VESSEL I AM UNABLE TO SAY IF BOTH OF THESE VOYAGES WERE MADE BY THE SAME SHIP OR IF THERE WERE TWO VESSELS WITH THE SAME NAME
