IN 1884 SHE DID ONE RETURN VOYAGE FOR SHAW SAVILL FROM LONDON TO WELLINGTON AND LYTLLETON VIA THE CAPE OF GOOD HOPE ( A REPLACEMENT REALLY FOR THE TRIUMPH, WHICH HAD GONE AGROUND AND SHORLY SOLD ONTO ANOTHER COMPANY )

 THE TENASSERIM HERSELF BEING SOLD IN 1893, HER DUTIES BEING TAKING OVER BY THE WHITE STAR LINE COPTIC ( WHITE STAR HAVING SURPLUS TONNAGE AT THIS TIME WERE KEEN TO FIND EMPLOYMENT FOR THEIR VESSELS )

 SHE HAD BEEN BUILT ORIGINALLY FOR HENDERSON'S & CO BURMA TRADE.


SHE WAS OWNED BY BRITISH & BURMESE SN CO OF GLASGOW IN 1877

SHE WAS SOLD TO NIPPON YSEN KK OF TOKYO AND RENAMED TAIREN MARU IN 1895

SHE WAS BROKEN UP IN OSAKA IN 1908

SHE WAS LOST ON 19TH DECEMBER 1918 - DESTROYED BY FIRE IN RANGOON RIVER WHILE AT THE BURMA OIL CO NR 4 MOORING

TENASSERIM WAS A IRON BARQUE OF 1,149 TONS BUILT IN BELFAST IN 1866 BY HARLAND & WOLFF  AND LAUNCHED ON30TH AUGUST SHE WAS OWNED BY BROCKLEBANK 

SHE WAS CONVERTED TO A BARQUE AROUND 1893/94

 HER LAST OWNERS WERE AUSTRALASIAN SHIPPING CO BUT SHE WAS MANGED BY GRACIE BEAZLEY & CO SHE HAD BEEN REGISTERED IN LIVERPOOL

SHE WAS SOLD IN 1890 TO GRACIE BEALZLEY ( AUSTRALASIAN SHIPPING CO NOW ? )

 ON 28TH JANUARY 1894 SHE LEFT BUENOS AYRES AND ARRIVED IN PORT ADELAIDE ON 26TH MARCH 1894

SHE LEFT HAMBURG IN 1897 AND ARRIVED AT PORT PIRIE ON 25TH FENRUARY 1897

IN 1900 SHE WAS SOLD TO A NORWEGIAN COMPANY AND RENAMED RYVINGEN

 IN MAY 1902 SHE WAS WRECKED AT TABLE MOUNTAIN.CAPTAIN TONNENSEN WAS IN COMMAND . NO CAUUALTIES
