PAMPERO / VENNER / TRIENTALIS WAS A IRON BARQUE OF 588 TONS BUILT BY T ROYDEN & SONS OF LIVERPOOL IN 1864 FOR THOMAS ISMAY ( LATER TO OWN THE
WHITE STAR LINE ) HER OFFICIAL NUMBER WAS 48833

SHE WAS USED ON THE LIVERPOOL TO CALLAO ROUTE.HER FIRST CAPTAIN WAS CAPTAIN LESLEY AND LATER BY CAPTAINS WALLER AND METCALF

SHE WAS SOLD TO W GELLATLEY OF DUNDEE IN 1874 TO BE SCRAPPED AFTER BEING TAKEN OUT OF SERVICE THE PREVIOUS YEAR , THIS OBVISIOUSLY DID NOT HAPPEN ( SOME REPORTS SAY IT WAS IN 1877 THAT SHE WAS SOLD TO W GELLATLEY )

IN 1881 SHE WAS SOLD TO SWANSEA MERCHANTS TRADING CO LTD ( SOME REPORTS SAY IT WAS IN 1882 )

IN 1894 SHE WAS SOLD TO REDERI A/S VENNER OF NORWAY AND WAS RE NAMED 'VENNER'

IN 1899 SHE SAILED FROM KANSO WITH A CARGO OF PIT PROPS FOR CARDIFF WITH CAPTAIN T THYGESEN IN COMMAND

IN 1889 SHE WAS WRECKED AT ELGO GAVEL AFTER RUNNING A GROUND

IN 1889 SHE WAS SALVAGED AFTER BEING SOLD TO J E OLSON OF GOTHENBURG.

AFTER BEING REPAIRED SHE WAS RNAMED TRIENTALIS

ON THE 5TH NOVEMBER 1900 SHE SAILED FROM GOTHENBURG FOR CAPETWON WITH A CARGO OF TIMBER WITH CAPTAIN K J HERMANSSON IN COMMAND

ON THE 7TH AUGUST 1908 SHE SAILED FROM ARUBA WITH A CARGO OF PHOSPHATE FOR LONDONDERRY

ON 25TH SEPTEMBER 1908 SHE STRANDED AT BALLYQUINTON POINT AND WAS WRECKED

PAMPERO WAS A WOODEN 3 MASTED SHIP OF 911 TONS BUILT BY JOHN SMITH IN 1867 OFFICIAL NUMBER WAS 56597. SHE WAS JOINTLY OWNED BY JOHN
COOK,GEORGE MILNE AND KINALDIE.

ON THE 30TH AUGUST 1869 SHE SAILED FROM NEWCASTLE ( NSW ) BOUND FOR SHANGHAI AND WAS NEVER SEEN AGAIN.
