GAZEBOUND

GAZE BOUND WAS A BARQUE OF 337 TONS HAVING BEEN BUILT IN SEPTEMBER ( YEAR? ) FOR THE BRISBANE TRADE ( SHE COULD CARRY 1100 BALES OF WOOL )

SHE LEFT THE DOWNS ON NOVEMBER 1ST AND ARRIVED IN SEPTEMBER AT SYDNEY ON 4TH FEBRUARY 1855. WITH CAPTAIN ALLISON COMMANDING.

SHE LEFT LONDON ON 25TH OCTOBER FOR SYNDEY AND MORTON BAY ( ARRIVAL DATE ? )

ARRIVED IN BRISBANE AND WAS TOWED UP RIVER BY THE STEAMER HAWK ( YEAR ? )

I HAVE VERY LITTLE INFORMATION FROM RECORDS ON THIS VESSEL, NOT SURE OF THE YEAR FOR THE LAST TWO VISITS TO AUSTRALIA, AND DON'T KNOW WHEN SHE WAS UNDER A SHAW SAVILL CHARTER
